Aloha!

We recently moved to Utah from Hawaii--where I was finishing my undergrad degree in Psychology. One of the major reasons we moved was because Hawaii is overly restrictive concerning guns (and politics are nuts too). So we're in Provo now and my husband just opened his gunsmith business. I have not been "involved" with guns for long--only a few months--but I'm getting to really like going to the range and recently just got myself my first Glock!

A few other facts: I'm mostly a stay-at-home-soon-to-be-mom (due in Aug) but still do research for my school in Hawaii.

I guess that's about it about me

p.s. Congratulations on the upcoming bundle of joy, I think you've moved to one of the best places in the world to raise children. :)

Is your husband on the forum as well? Glad to hear of more females taking the necessary steps to be able to defend themselves. Hopefully my wife will join your ranks some day.

Let us know if we can be of help in any way. Congrats on the soon-to-be addition to the family - is it a boy or girl?

I don't think my husband has joined this forum yet, but I'm going to get him to register very soon. He's more knowledgeable about all these things (thus the reason he's the gunsmith not me).

And it's a little boy! I'm super excited!

Aloha! Welcome to our forum!! We're delighted to have another lady join our ranks. Thanks for introducing yourself.

I echo the question asked above. Is your husband a member of the forum too?

How do you like your new Glock? What model is it?
Do you plan to get a Concealed Firearm Permit (CFP) or already have one?

Post often and enjoy. This is a great forum with lots of very knowledgeable people.

Aloha, and welcome from southern Utah! :shades:

The Provo/Orem area is a great place to live, especially for a new family (congratulations!), I'll have to come up and see the new gun shop!
