I have been lurking here for a while and thought it was time to join. I am a CWP holder in West Jordan and I enjoy long walks on the beach...... No wait, it's target practice on the beach. Nothing like some good salty air for the XD.

I hope to participate in the local aspects of 2nd ammendment issues and haev been posting to THR. I hope my attitude will find a welcome home here.

I have made this offer on THR so I will make it here.

I run a business with no Utah customers out of my house. I have a CNC Plasma cutter and I generate a good deal of scrap steel. If anyone would like target shapes cut from 12 guage steel I can do this for nothing. You just have to make a computer drawing of what you want and my machine does it in seconds. If you want thicker targets you will have to provide the steel.

I do this at no charge only for the shooting sports crowd. I have little time to participate in them so I try to support them in the only way I know how.

mcosman, welcome to the site.

I am also in West Jordan. Small world.

The XD's are a great line of guns. I own and carry an XD45 Compact every day.

The target thing sounds very cool. I would love to know more about the target steel and the whole process. Again, welcome!

I don't build targets for a living. I build lift robots for plasma screens and such. But I can build a steel target in no time with these tools. CNC machines are the best, just draw what you need and it's like sending it to a steel "Printer" as it were. Only it's 4x8 sheets of steel.
