Never watch the show, but I loved that clip

Seen the show a couple of times and the character is one of those no nonsense characters. No hypocritical PC BS with him. No coward to him at all. Great clip!

Also, Tarzan, I haven't gotten a response from you on the photo you are using? I still swear that is my brother with his Boy Scout Hat (which I gave him) standing on that "white mountain," at the International Peace Gardens in Salt Lake. Send me a reply via pm.

Sorry I missed the question when you asked me.

Actually the picture was taken about 3 or 4 years ago. I was doing some field work in Nevada. We were staying in the town of Gabbs. There had been a rumor that there was one or more oil seeps in the area.

We talked to a geologist who had married a local and was now a wife and mother and she told us the she knew where a seep was. She sent us to a valley that went clear thorough the the Gabbs Valley Range and as we entered the valley we found on the sides of the valley what appeared to be asphalt. or at least gravel that was held together by tar. This looked like the results of an oil seep to us and we followed it up the valley and then up a side valley until we found a large mud volcano that appeared to be the source of the oil.

We collected samples and found that it was not oil at all, but a mineral called Wad, which is a compilation of Manganese oxide minerals.

Below is the picture I took my avatar from. It is me standing on top of the mud volcano in the Gabbs Valley Range of Nevada.

Your avatar looks like a much younger Denny Crane, more like TJ Hooker in a suit. :lol2:
