so bear with me when I ask this question:

How long should it take BCI to initially process payment on the CFP application? I submitted mine a week ago and nothing yet. Yeah, I know that it takes forever, but like I said, I'm bored at home after surgery.

For me, it's been 4 weeks and I'm still waiting. Also, I understand your boredom. I'm home with a sore throat and fever. Hopefully, we'll both recover soon.

Oh, and by "submitted" I mean it was hand delivered by Clark after our class was finished.

Have I mentioned I hate being stuck at home with nothing to do? I make bad decisions in times like this; like buying holsters, magazines and ammo. And I can't blame it on the pain meds 'cause then my wife will take away my computer.

They will take it out once they process your permit. (Basically a few days before you get it)

I got mine a couple months ago from the day of drop-off to permit in my hand it was 26 days. hang in there.

Sorry you guys are down and not feeling well, hope you get better soon.I'm feeling sorry for myself because I have had a new gun for a week and haven't been able to shoot it yet,but tomorrow is the day and my new holster is coming Friday. ( hang in there )

Get well soon. I just recently went through shoulder & elbow surgery myself. Surgery is no fun.
Fortunately, I was able to go to the range yesterday and convert more than 100 rounds into lots of noise and holes in paper -- without shoulder or elbow pain. That's encouraging!

I was going to attend Chris' Defensive Handgun course this weekend, but I don't think that's an option now. I'm not supposed to do any pushing, pulling or lifting.
