What an absolutely humble man! You can tell he wishes he didn't have to shoot those two guys but when someone puts a gun in your face and informs you they are going to kill you and your wife they leave you with little choice. I'm very impressed with how he handled the situation and how he presented himself in the interview afterwards.

The video is about 16 minutes long. It is excellent and I strongly recommend that everyone here take the time to watch it. Very good story and excellent reminder for us to ALWAYS carry and keep your gun on your body. Walther, thanks for posting that vid.

Dazmond was such a good boy... I don't know how he wasn't in Florida reuniting with his estranged mother or why he was having a child at 19 to a girl he wasn't married to or why he hadn't gotten his GED yet, I mean, Daz was NBA material all the way! Maybe he was forced into doing that B&E...

We believe that the true victims in this crime were the two young men involved, shot down in their prime by a crazy gunman. The Police are calling this self-defense, but we are still waiting for charges to be brought on the crazy gun owner for shooting these two boys who were, I am sure, going to go on to become outstanding citizens in the community.

It could have been the other way around:

Two troubled teens robbed a man then shot him to death and beat his wife. The man was known as a hardworking individual who owned several apartment buildings in the area. He had served his country as a veteran of the US Navy and is survived by his wife, two children, and four grandchildren

Thanks for posting the video. It's educational and a good reminder of why we should carry. I was impressed at Billy's attitude and composure. He had true remorse for having to kill two men, and at the same time has a firm resolve to do it again if his or his wife's life was in danger. Very impressive that he had the presence of mind to fake the heart attack to give him more of an element of surprise. And, that's why he lived. Thanks again.
