I have a safariland ALS that I don't use. I prefer the GLS. It's the one with the thumb break. You played with that one and the GLS at the RSO class.

It doesn't have a hood on top, but it covers most of the gun.

IDK If the 17 fits, because of the different barrel lengths. Bummer. I really liked that holster too haha

It will fit for sure. I tested a G34 and it fit fine. It did stick out a bit, but had no issues. A G17 would sit flush at the bottom of the holster.
