I have just been looking at this page on the Utah BCI site:
http://bci.utah.gov/Stats/2006.pdf
It is giving the stats on crime in Utah in 2006.
On page 45 it gives the type and value of property stolen. For firearms there is an amazing figure of $38,602,280. The only thing higher was TV, radios and stereos.
All I can say folks is that we need to do all that we can to keep our firearms secured.
