Title says it. I heard Bob Lonsberry interviewing John Jacob, a Republican, this morning on KNRS 570. Sounds like John Jacob would be an excellent replacement for Cannon.

Jacob lists four main points of his potential term in office. Immigration, Education, Energy, and 2nd Amendment. He says that if he doesn't accomplish progress on these issues, he will not run for re-election.

Bob Lonsberry is very conservative, LDS, and has a good head on his shoulders. And from the views he has on immigration, and the views that John Jacob stated, it sounds like Jacob would be the kind of Representative I would support.

I've simply had enough of Cannon speaking out of both sides of his mouth on the immigration issue. He signed his career's death warrant with his policies on immigration.

I'm very excited to see a REPUBLICAN challenge Cannon for the congressional seat. This will be decided in the Republican primary that is happening sometime soon.

John Jacob's website is http://www.electjohnjacob.com

Also, does anybody have the dates on the primaries? :) thanks.

Thanks for the info on John Jacob; he looks like a good all-around candidate to represent Utah.
