I wanted to get the ball rolling here for next month as we are already having people ask when our next meet will be.

The tentative plan is as follows:

I am SOOOO planning on being there. I hope people will come with me for this, my daughter in particular. Maybe even her fiance....hehehehe..his eyes will bug out of his head to see so many people open carrying firearms. It would be a good learning experience for him. Hope we can all see you there.

We're actually thinking about changing the dinner to a BBQ at Peachwood park in WVC. Perhaps with some trash clean-up or other service project beforehand. I will post more details as they become available, and there will most likely be a food sign-up sheet.

No, GC has been really good to us. People voiced some concern with GC because we always go there and they are getting sick of the same old place. Then the idea of a BBQ came out. This would be a little more public and we could potentially do some service beforehand in/around the park. Besides, with the weather so nice, we ought to get out and about and save GC for the colder, winter months.

Well I would like to put a vote in for keeping the original plan. But I have only been to one of the Golded Corral dinners, and it seemed like a great spot to me, and I am not tired of it at all.

This will be a test for me I have not BBQed for some time.. for some reason fat getting burned brings back bad memories. uke:

Any ways I hope I am over it, I still eat BBQ just last time I was next to a grill.......... was not pleasant.

With the upcoming elections has anyone given any thought to inviting any candidates to speak. Would be nice to have Bill Dew or Jim Matheson give there views on RKBA, along with the 3rd congressional candidates.
