I saw a link on another site and thought it would be interesting. I look forward to reading the discussions.
Well Welcome!

Glad you found us.

I have not been here that long myself, but I have really enjoyed the time I have spent here.

Tell us a little about yourself, where you are from, what you do, what kind of shooting sports you like, and what kind of guns you have.

You know the good stuff.

I'm glad to see that this forum is frequented enough to generate so many replies in so short a time. It ought to make for relevant and up to date discussions.

I am an electrical engineer and I live in West Jordan where I grew up.

I used to call shooting a hobby, but lately its hard to find time to get out and practice. The last time I got out I went to the area west of Utah Lake where I swore never to shoot again on a Saturday.

I've had a carry permit since early '96 and have carried almost every day since. I try to introduce people to shooting and CC when I get the chance and have helped a number of people make the decision to get their permits.

I've got my eye on a Springfield XD in 9mm, which is the most perfect natural pointer that I have ever shot. A close second for me is my Beretta 8000... just a bit heavier.

For me nothing tops a good .22 for plinking and all-day shooting with minimal impact to the wallet. My favorite is my Ruger MK512 which I recently threaded for my first NFA purchase... I have a suspicion that this will turn into an expensive hobby!! So much for minimal impact to the wallet!
