Yes - another top job done Clark. I appreciate your dedication and your professionalism to the truly law abiding citizen. Also bringing false information to a halt as they so desperately try the scare tactics. Interesting though, I had heard on KSL radio that Mr. Gunn was suppose to be on the show. I wonder if the information was incorrect or if he had not recovered from a few weeks ago :dunno:

It's just funny how people are starting to freak out and think that now everybody is going to start carrying guns, shoot each other on the streets and cause violence even tho nothing is really changing for our state. Another thing I hate is when people start throwing out numbers/statistics (30/30 000 like old guy did) and then can't back it up or explain it. If I understood correctly he lost his son due to gun violence and I feel for him it's a terrible thing to happen to a parent but no reason to attack/bash something and make other law abiding/gun carrying citizens look like monsters or gunslingers.

Too bad these people can't think for themselves and get their facts straight. You would think that someone going into something like that would have at least had something to back it up. Yes it is sad that his son was killed, but it is also sad that my neighbor was killed in a car accident. They could have had someone better than that old man. Give Clark someone he can debate with and that doesn't stumble over what he is going to say next. Great job Clark. There is a lot more to come.

I feel bad about the old man's loss, but there was no credibility to anything he said. Where do people like him come up with that stuff? :dunno:

The old man was on KSL's 6PM news as well and was stating that the only reason why his son died was because "HE LIVED IN THE WRONG COUNTRY." I almost jumped off my bed in anger. I felt like writing the old man a letter and saying if he felt like he was in the "wrong country" he should get the freak out and go live in Germany or somewhere else. Nothing more than a bitter old man. I wonder if he realizes that more children die in bicycle and tricycle accidents every year than with guns. Maybe he should work on banning something that will have a bigger effect than guns. (Rant over)

The mayor states in the beginning of the clip, "more handguns in DC means more handgun violence"... Well, Hopefully that's true.!!

Hopefully, those that carry handguns for self defense will Respond with 'handgun violence' when confronted by some POS criminal. Maybe then the criminals will think twice before committing the crime. Maybe this is too harsh for some, but I think the more criminals that die, as a result of this ruling, the better.

The first thing that struck me was whose picture was above the others. Classic visual manipulation used to present one argument being above another. The other was how poor a choice it was to use the VPC of Utah individual. He was unprepared, spewed the usual unfounded 'facts' and expected no opposition.

My hat off to Mr. Aposhian for not letting the false info go unchallenged and being upfront and confident on the subject.

Ron Molen writes at least one anti-gun LTE to the trib and Des News each month. And usually they get published. Undoubtedly he has suffered, but his anger is misdirected. A gun didn't kill his son, his son's girlfriend's scumbag ex pulled the trigger. Why doesn't he focus his anger on Domestic Violence prevention where it belongs?
