Beautiful article, simply beautiful. I enjoyed reading some of the responses also. People who think defaming Dr. Lott helps to justify defending the gun-free policy. Here's a statistic: Think of the three biggest "shooting-spree" type stories in the past year. I think of Virginia Tech, Trolley Square, and Omaha. All took place in "gun-free" areas. 32+5+8=45 innocent people murdered in areas where law-abiding citizens are denied the right to protect themselves. And notice the one with the fewest casualties was because an off-duty cop decided to ignore the mall's policy, and was able to engage the perpetrator and save God knows how many lives.
