My new custom adjustable gas block... this took me about 10x longer than it looks like it should have (oh all I did was drill and tap it for a set screw to constrict the gas flow).

Suppressors on gas impingement guns have a side effect greatly increasing the duration of the flow of gas into the chamber. I added the set screw to lower the volume of gas to attempt to reduce the cyclic rate and the amount of carbon fouling. Success on both goals!

The final product complete with shiny new 14.5" barrel. I wish I had gone with a 12" now.

A Colt SAA I just received back from having ivory grips fit. The quality of the ivory and the fitting work are both outstanding. You can see from the picture how tight the lines are. I would put these up against my Colt custom shop Ivory any day of the week. Same guy did bark-line ivory on an SAA belonging to my father as a Christmas gift. I wish I had taken a picture of them before handing it over to my father. Nice bark-line is beautiful. Nutmeg sports did these; fantastic value. Top notch workmanship and ivory as well as a fine price. He does 1911 grips too.

WOW! Now I have to wipe off my keyboard because of all the drool. I especially like your rifle. What kind of front sight and suppresor do you have?
:D A job to be proud of.

Nice! I'm working on an AR15 build right now. Just waiting for some parts to show up in the mail to finish the lower. Still not sure what I want to do for the upper. I had been thinking short barrel with a suppresor and your pics got me leaning even more that way. Glad to find another AR guy here.

I appreciate the offer; I may be in town on the 19th.

I don't know how much I can afford I just spent a load on a frontsight membership so I can take their defensive rifle and FA classes. So how much are we talking here?

Do you permit students (who either can't afford NFA/class 3 items, or choose not to purchase anything that will put them on a federal registration list) to use aimed bump-fire techniques?

:D
As cool as it is, our insurance wouldn't allow it.... Sorry  But feel free to attend if you want, just let us know. We are limiting this class size.
