Hello
I just applied for my Nevada ccw today and someone told me to also get the Utah ccw. How do I go about getting the necessary Utah application kit? I am a resident of Nevada. Thanks in advance. Rich

Is it really necissary to get a Utah CFL when Utah already recognizes any other states licence?

Kinda sounds like a waste of money.

Unless you travel a lot to states that already have reciprocity with Utah, but NOT Nevada.

Only reason I can think of...

At last count, the Utah permit is good in 31 states, but the Nevada permit is only good in 15. The Utah permit is considered one of the best in terms of how widely recognized it is. Check at packing.org for the specifics.

Of course, the Nevada permit is good in Utah.
