Sorry for the brief description there...
I'm from Layton, born and raised. I've been shooting all my life and own a few handguns (Springfield 1911 and a couple .22's) along with the usual rifles and shotguns handed down from my Pops. I do have my permit but just recently. I haven't been carrying as the 1911 is a bit big for CC. My office is at The Gateway and I'm a shirt and tie guy so I'm in the market for something that I could possibly ankle holster.
Thats about a paragraph or so... any other questions? I'm looking forward to scowering the sight, trying to learn all I can as I really am one of the new guys to the concealed carry world.

That's an excellent idea ... scouring the site. There are lots of threads that have discussed many issues in great detail. Try the Search function at the top of the page.

Welcome to the group. I love my 1911. I carry it everytime I'm legally able to do so.
