Hello! My name is Todd and I'm from Syracuse, UT. I'm an old-timer with rifles but new to pistols. My aim is pretty good and I'm enjoying shooting them. I've been encouraged by good influences to get my concealed carry permit. I found this website and thought it might help me to know who is good for instructors to my county (Davis Co.) and who might not be. I'm hoping to find valuable information that will help me to learn more and stay on top of changes, etc., to our Utah Concealed Carry Laws. - Thanks.

Glad you found us online! If you haven't taken your CFP class yet, you should check out the list of course instructors. I know that Chris at Strategic Tactical is up in Kaysville (also Davis County) - I'm in Bountiful (South Davis) - people seem to like Chris' courses. I have also heard good things about FBMG (down in Draper). If there's anything we can help you with, please don't hesitate to ask. Stick around and post often!

I was a lot like you, and am now fairly familure with handguns.
