I've been reading your postings on this site for several weeks now and found them all most interesting. I have been waiting on pins and needles since March 31st for my application to be approved for my CFP. My son has his CFP and I can thank him for getting this ball rolling.
My background includes 12 years Army Reserve, including Desert Storm, non-combat. I am proud to have served my country. I strongly believe that citizens must individually exercise their rights as granted under the Constitution.
I feel the need to get out on the range and practice lots. Trigger squeeze really needs work right now.

Thanks for all your insight. It's great to be able to pick your collective brains!

If you are so eager to exercise your rights as granted under the constitution you should then OPEN CARRY WITHOUT a "privilege" from the government til you get your "privilege" to conceal.

That a true CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT. Carry WITHOUT a "privilege".

Welcome BTW.

UTOC,

Your point is well taken. I am at the point of familiarizing myself with the appilcable laws and regulations concerning carrying, concealed and open. Being somewhat new to the idea of my responsibility as a citizen to protect myself and my family and not to expect someone else or some other entity to do it for me, I find myself mentally easing into a state of readiness to strap on the holster and going about my daily routines. I say better late than never. I hope I'm never too old to learn.

:D
