I use the Garmin Vista CX, it is a small unit but I have not had any problems with it.MasLakas said:Welcome to the forum.
I just got a GPSMAP60CSx with part of my tax return and am back in the geocaching game after my old Cobra model broke last summer. What gps unit do you use?
I've found the eTrex to be a very reliable and accurate unit, plus it's battery life seems to be considerably better than other units. If you don't need the bells and whistles of uploading maps to extended memory, color screen or a blue tooth connection... A Rino 530HCx (for myself) and a few Rino 110 units (for my kids) are on my "need" list for rock-hounding the great basin this summer.tapehoser said:I've thought about taking our young men (church) on a geo caching activity. Would the Garmin eTrex Legend be a suitable unit for such an endeavor?
I use an older style Garmin eTrex Vista (non color). I bought it back in 2001 and it's still going strong. They are great units. I like the battery life and the water resistance - saved me up in the mountains in the rain and out caching on rainy days. Oh, and when traveling I used it for maps, but not since the purchase of the iPhone. I would like the color version, but I can't justify the upgrade while mine is still working perfectly.MasLakas said:What gps unit do you use?
If it's NOT a concealable weapon why don't you OPEN CARRY then :dancing:davis_b_1 said:Hi, I just found this site linked from another forum that I am on all the time, right now the only gun I have is a Ruger P94DC 9mm, I know this is really not a concealable weapon, I don't yet have a CCP, but plan on getting one very soon.
