I have a first edition eTrex Vista (greyscale screen), but it still works and can load maps (albeit from a COM port :lolbang: ). It's a great unit, small, lightweight, water-resistant and does most everything well. I do like the bigger screened versions for driving. We rented a nice, large, color GPS from Budget in San Diego and it was a life-saver!

P.S. If anyone wants to go OC Geocaching, please let me know - maybe I will start a thread over on the Open Carry subforum. Come by and list when/where you will be caching.

Yes! It's good to get another member from the Ogden area. I'm deffinitely not a seasoned member of this forum but if there is any advice I can offer it's if you're planning on getting your CFP soon it's best to get that paperwork turned in sooner than later. I'm glad you are with us!
