Glad I found this forum. I have been active in the world of firearms all my life but just decided to get a concealed carry permit. I'm going to be signing up for a class next week to get started.

I love everything outdoors, but I'm particularly fond of rock crawling in my Jeep right now. :wink:

With everything going on around the state/country these days, I figured it was time to step up my level of self-defense for my family and me.

I just bought a Springfield XD .40 sub-compact. Love that little gun.

Still looking for an IWB holster for it. I'd be happy to take recommendations on the holster...

Sweet little gun. That's what I pack. As far as an IWB holster goes, I have the CTAC holster http://www.comp-tac.com/ct_ctac.html .

I carry the XD45 in a DeSantis Pro Stealth IWB. Has a pouch for the extra magazine, should you chose to carry it around as well. I find that 24 rounds of 45 ACP is a bit heavy, so I opt for a knife in the pouch.

Crossbreed Supertuck for my XD9 subcompact. Very comfortable, very concealable (even with a tucked in shirt), and the price isn't too bad.
