Welcome to the forum and thanks for introducing yourself. This is a great site to learn from and to share your knowledge. Enjoy and post often.
Welcome.

I am curious, since you have been carrying for eight years, do you still carry the same firearm you started with or have you been doing the trial and error route. I just ask 'cause I have had my permit for a year and I am selling my current carry firearm to fincance the purchase of a new carry firearm.
:welcome: from Bountiful!

Glad you made your way here! We're always excited to have new members. Since you're a seasoned CC'er, jump in and make yourself heard! If there's anything we can help you with, please, let us know. Stick around, post often and most of all, make yourself at home!

I still have and carry my original firearm but have added to what I carry. Started carrying a Ruger P-89, I also carry a Ruger SP-101 in 357mag picked it up just this year.

Not that you asked.......why don't you keep the gun you have and save to buy another gun, you can never have to many options.

Thanks for the reply.
I am selling my XD45 and getting a XD45 compact. The compact was not out when I picked up my XD and I have decided it is time to upgrade to the compact grip. I really want a SP101 sometime also. Not the lightest compact revolver but where I am used to packing full size 45 autos, I doubt I would notice.
Welcome from Springville! Post often and enjoy yourself. Just a warning, it can be addicting.
