Here are the final details of the meet.

When: November 17th (Saturday) at 2:00pm.

Where: Golden Corral Restaurant, 1624 NORTH HERITAGE PARK BLVD, Layton UT

Directions: From the South, take I-15 North, take Exit 332 (antelope drive), turn right onto antelope drive then turn right at the first stop light (by famous daves), follow the road and you will see Golden Corral on your left (if you get to the stop sign you have gone too far...look to the left and you will see it.)

I will be there +1, if I can get my wife out of work that day. She actually told me today she would be willing to go, if for no other reason than to support me. I am working on bringing her around. It also helps that she had a scary situation several months ago in Layton and has been coming around to why being free & carrying are so important. Looking forward to showing up, coming from Salt Lake. :)

Me + 1.

There has been some folks that I have told about the Meet due to OCing.

I think I have talked to about 5 people since our dinner due Q's about OCing. I told them the OCDO and UCC

1 of the Guys was @ Wild Oats in Sugar House and I heard him and his wife talking about OCing and He kinda approached me saying -"You can carry like that without a Permit unloaded and Loaded with a Permit, Right?". I said -"You're Right". He said-"MAN, I LOVE THIS STATE.I LOVE UTAH", and on we went with related talk.I invited him the sites and and told about the dinner. As far as my impression He+1 and mayby others along with him.

This Will be exciting. This Date and time is ALREADY in my Calender as we speak.

WAY TO GO B.

(Please tell us HOW you CONVINCED Golden Corral about our OCing their Restaurant while dining)

This will be an AWESOME attendence I think.

Well, there I really didn't have to do much convincing, I actually just told the manager how it is and he said "oh no, we don't have any issues with that sort of thing, don't worry about it one bit" he was a great guy to deal with.

I would like to make a request to all that are planning to attend.....Lets try to leave the "exotics" and show pieces at home, and wear firearms that we would actually carry and plan to use in the case of a life or death situation. After our last meeting, we are getting a lot of publicity, bad and good, and the main concern that we would like to use this event to address is that we "don't just carry because we can" or "to show off" we actually carry because it is our right to defend ourselves, and we take that right very seriously. I have guys asking if they can sling an AR15, or a S&W 460, and I can't tell them no, but I would highly suggest that they carry something smaller, and more in line with self defense. We already draw enough attention carrying 1911's, glocks, etc. that I don't want to overstep our bounds with the resturaunt or law enforcement at this point. These resturaunts are not obligated to let us have these kind of events in their facilities, so lets do our part to say thanks and not go overboard with our choice of firearms. B

I'm a big unsure. I will try to come, but may not be able to make it. I was all excited about it and went home and told my wife to put it on our schedule, and then she reminded me we will be in Costa Rica from Nov 8-16th. (How could I forget that!) So I don't know if we will be up to more partying after just getting home. :?

So put me down as a maybe 2.

My anniversary is the 14th, and my wife wanted to celebrate on the 17th also, but she ended up having a baby shower for her sister so we decided to have "our" night the weekend after. Congrats on 13 years!!! B
