Hey guys!

We talked about this briefly at lunch and GeneticsDave just reminded me.

We are putting together an OC Phone List so that we can get in touch with one another easily.

If you would like to be a part of this list, please PM me:

- your Real Name (first only is fine)
- screenname (though this will be with the message)
- phone number
- City of residence (if I get detained in WVC, I want to know who lives there to come and video the incident, etc...)
- City of employment -- if different from residence (useful for lunches, etc...)

I will send the list out sometime next week.

This is mainly to be used to contact people short notice about lunches/activities or if someone needs help in an OC encounter. To be included, just PM ScottyT and he will add you to the list.

Likewise. I'm glad this got bumped back up. I wasn't ready to OC back when I first saw this post... but now I'm getting ready with everything I need (phone number list, knowing the law, etc) because I think I've changed my mind and I'm going to actually start OC'ing.

A mailing list would more than likely die because people don't want to have to follow 2 mediums of information (UCC and a mailing list). Besides, we already have the Open Carry forum for that. I love the idea of a mailing list, but tbh I prefer the forums because I personally check it quite a bit. I have no life... *sigh*

same here Almost feel like not enough posts I wanted to make a chat room for the forum at one point lol no one liked that idea either.

but if it ever comes down to it give me a heads up

btw the mailing list would send Emails out to people. They would not have to follow a second medium since people already check there emails.

Is the phone list thing still going on? If so I'd like to know who is doing it now so I can pm them and get a copy. I would start a new one but, I am computer less right now and just using my phone to check/post.
