Whatever happened to packing.org, it sure is a shame that we don't have it anymore. Does anyone know if the information regarding state gun laws can be found elsewhere? I'm sure those pages are out there somewhere.

Try usacarry.com, I just joined & also noted a lot of others from this site & the defunct packing.org have become members there. I believe they have that information there.
As for packing.org--it is well & truly gone. I can no longer access anything I ever posted there or anyone elses posts either. It is a shame it is gone I have used it for years. Hopefully this new national carry site will fill the bill when it comes to packing nationwide.

PDO was the premier carry site in the nation for several years. It had an awesome database of all states. The chat side was good for a while, but went downhill, especially after the format changed to get rid of the moderators and have people vote on posts. That allowed trolls to wreak havoc. That was what really killed the site. It's a terrible shame.

Does anyone know who the owner of packing.org was? I mean, couldn't he donate the state pages to usacarry.com for instance?

Mark Solomon. He probably got so tired of the whining that he grew tired of it. Plus he had a change in career and is working on a law degree, IIRC.
