When was this petition started? I tried to find a date on the site but couldn't find one. It would be nice to know how long it took to get 1214 signatures (that one was mine).

I don't know when it was started, but the letter says:

"We are sending this petition to voice our support for the Letter Sent to you on December 14th, 2007"

So it has only been about a month since the letter, who knows when the petition went online.
