Election judges for the upcoming general election are receiving training in Salt Lake County at a place called New Horizons. The instructor there for our session, Angela Schaffer, was asked the question (NOT BY ME!) whether voters (or judges, presumably) having CFP's could legally carry at the polling places.
Angela was adamant that it was totally against the law, and as judges, we should call 911 for the police if we detected any firearms being carried. I didn't argue or comment because I wasn't absolutely sure of my info. I came home and did a search of Title 76 of the Utah code, but I can't find anything about it, yea or nay. So I've decided that, unless some Federal law applies, Utah has no law against it, and it's not illegal. Am I correct?
