Hey guys and gals,
I wasn't sure where to put this, no categories really fit, so here it goes.
I really like UCC, reading your posts is part of my daily routine, it's become a habit to check posts many times a day. I know there are some of you out there who do this as well, and there are some of you out there who would like to do this, but don't have all day to sit online reading posts. I fall into the second group, so I came up with a plan. No doubt many of you are familiar with RSS feeds (and may even have the UCC feed address and do what I do), but some are not so I will try to explain it.
An RSS feed is used to publish frequently updated content such as blog entries, news headlines or podcasts. An RSS document, which is called a "feed", "web feed", or "channel", contains either a summary of content from an associated web site or the full text. RSS makes it possible for people to keep up with their favorite web sites in an automated manner that's easier than checking them manually. (Courtesy of Wikipedia.org)
There are many programs that will allow you to add "feeds". Outlook, a part of Microsoft Office that allows you to check multiple email accounts has an RSS feed reader. About.com has a "Top 10 Windows RSS Feed Readers" list, but you can Google "Windows RSS Reader" and get a good list there. I personally use Shrook on Mac OSX, but more listings can also be obtained with a simple internet search.
So, once you have your RSS reader installed, just paste this address in your feed list and it should start checking and downloading posts at a time interval you specify (it's not recommended to set it any faster than 15 minutes as it bogs down the server):

Good luck and enjoy the posts while you save time!
