I have never seen or read of the Safepacker before. However, it looks interesting. This looks like it would be easier to access while driving than my IWB at 4:00 and a lot easier than my SmartCarry holster. This might be worth it if I were to do a lot of driving.
The large fits my 5" 1911, and the medium fits my Glock 27.
They are padded and have other sections divided from the pistol section and also have a belt clip, but they are a bit large for wearing. They make a great discreet 'gun rug'.
Keep an eye on the 'Clearance' section, that is how I got mine.
The only time I can see myself using it is on long car trips. If I wear on the belt, I use a holster, it's more comfortable and gives me faster access. I haven't been able to justify the expense (these things aren't cheap) just for use in the car.
I think I could also see my self using one in the great out doors especially when on a hiking trip. seems like it would hook onto my pack well and keep the trial dust off the firearm.
