Well I love my Blackhawk Serpa CQC!! But I noticed last night when I took it off it had started to tear. See pic below:

So I shot off on email to the Costumer service Dpt. and as I was loading this picture they sent me an email asking for my address to send me out a new one. I am ecstatic!! That is defiantly great costumer service. Not many companies are like that. They have made me a customer for life!

I was talking to SGT Jensen about that after the last lunch in WVC we went to. We were over at a store and saw a SERPA holster there. I thought, "Sheesh, that doesn't look like mine," the plastic was narrower. I got one recently online and it is much beefier than the retail version we saw. Hopefully they have revised the design to make it more sturdy and that you get a new, improved replacement.

Great customer service though. I have chatted with the CEO a few times via email, he's very personable.

Looks like the crack is on the right side (back end of the holster). I have the same paddle holster, going to have to watch for that. Did you order it from Blackhawk or someplace else like Midway USA? I got mine from Range Masters of Utah and hope that Black Hawk would do that for me if it broke. Great customer service like these is how they get business: you tell us about them, we look and say "neat" and buy one ourselves. Yep yep! :D

My Serpa did the exact same thing. I called their customer service number, and they mailed me a new one free. Their customer service is awesome. When I told them it broke, I also asked how I could buy two rail attachments for my thigh holster, and they sent them with the paddle for free! Hopefully the new paddles are stronger.

It's great when you find awesome customer service like that!

Can you show a wider-angled picture for me? Just want to see what part of the holster is shown.
Here is a wider shot. Keep in mind I have the actual holster removed and just showing the paddle attachment.

Ya not too many differences between your new one and mine. When I get my new one from Blackhawk I'll have to post a pic to compare. Although the belt attachment is serving me well. Not as comfortable as the paddle and less convenient but still not bad.

A little more info: the old one came with my 1911 holster I purchased almost 3 years ago. The new one came with a Glock-17 (issued weapon for work - I wouldn't buy one) holster purchased a couple weeks ago. The new paddle is twice as thick at the top.

The one they sent me (just got it yesterday .. Really fast shipping!!) is identical to the "new" one pictured. It even fits better on my hip. The old one seemed to kick the barrel of the gun out a bit. This new one seems to hold it in closer to my side. They have me as a customer for life!
