I have been looking at the Sig P220 Carry as my carry weapon. I know it is a little bigger than most carry guns, but it is something I grew up with and am used to. However, I have not used a Sig in years and am wondering if anyone can give me some feedback on whether the Sig P220 Carry is worth the $800+ I would need to buy a brand new one.

$800 out the door new is a fair price. If you shop around I am sure you can find it cheaper. Try http://www.gunbroker.com Much of their stuff is used, but you can often find new guns there too.

I picked up the P220 carry in SAO several months ago. Its roughly the same size as my Kimber CDP Pro II but I had been wanting a Sig for some time. I prefer cocked and locked so I had to grab this gun when they came out with the SAO.
Its not my primary carry weapon so the size isn't that big of an issue for me. The gun shoots great and is real purdy too. I got the two tone model. IMHO its worth the $$

The P220 is a fine weapon. Check out the thread on the FBMG Sig group buy. They are all but giving them away. Best prices anywhere, they told me.

Over almost all the new stuff I prefer the old W German sigs, summit just ran out of them @ around 450.00 each :crying:
