Taser now has the new civilian versions available to the public. The Taser C2, X26c and the M-18c are now available. These are not cheap. The do work great if you want a non lethal tool to use instead of shooting them to the ground. We liked the TaserC2 the best as it is so unobtrusive and can be carried by anyone over 18 who is not a criminal. No permit needed. Legal in most states, including Utah.

Hey Dennis -- I've got a demo C2 I use in my CFP course. Do you have an expended cartridge I could seal up and stick in the demo unit? Right now I've just got a gaping hole in the front.

I am waiting on my non-laser unit which is in the mail. Dennis is a pleasure to deal with he includes extras that you will not find for the same price anywhere else. Dennis even offered me the use of his personal taser until mine arrived. Personally being certified through the military I have mote faith in a taser for up close and one on one than a .44 mag.

I dont know if it was a Taser training product or what but, I was trained and shocked with a XM26 that had the cartridge replaced with a unit that had heavier wire attached to alligator clips. They shocked every one of us with these leads clipped to us. I have my taser now and I consider the handgun it's backup.

Dennis may offer one but, watch the DVD buy his package with a cartridge and a target and shoot it. There is really not much to it. There is an alternate solution buy the extra cartridge, find a stupid friend, buy him a 12 pack of real beer (from the liquor store) and talk about your taser, he may invite you to try it :lolbang: Alternately for 250.00 you can shoot me with a taser :shock:

for civilian purposes the TASER C2 is going to be the best choice for you. Get the model with the laser in it. They come in may colors. Get and extra cartridge so you can fire one to test into a cardboard box before you start carrying it. More info on our web site at www.combat-terror.com
