I have a good friend that I watched shoot 2 tweety birds out of the air with a BB gun during our teenage years. One of the shots was probably close to 25 yards. Course I also watched him shoot at thousands of birds that way.
A few years back I was with a few friends at the shooting range and a tweety bird landed in a tree about 85-90 yards away. My buddy had an open site .22 pistol. First shot...nothing. Second shot, bird falls out of the tree dead. The funniest thing was his reaction. He felt pretty bad....didn't think in a million years he would hit it.
