Well, here is the link:

The U wants to ban guns in "communal" areas such as sporting events and dorms. Why don't the understand that they already lost this battle, and just give up? Arrggh.

Thanks for helping in this battle, Clark! Great comments in the article!!!

I have written both Rep. Craig A. Frank and Senator Valentine on this issue and others. Rep. Frank ALWAYS responds within days to me, and is very pro gun. He says he and others will not comprimise. Senator Valentine, on the other hand, has never bothered to respond to my letters, and now this article shows in bed with the U of U. Great.

Of course, when they say "compromise" they mean "agree to give up your rights."

This also reflects the problem that I have with allowing churches special exception: everybody else wants to be a special exception.

Either we have inalienable rights or we don't.

Senator Bell is also a power-seeking lying scum.

Before he was elected he swore up and down before myself and others that he was in full support of our rights. As soon as he was elected, he became very hostile when he changed his tune and accused us of lying about him when we challenged his two-faced behaviour.

Yup, Politicians sure make me sick!! It's a shame that they get away with it, too bad. I have never been sure of Sen. Valentine's position on gun control until this. I have read mixed reviews of him before, but I regret to say he my representative who certainly is not representing...

At least we still have some on our side!!!

This doesn't mean that Valentine can't be sheperded with enough pressure. The spineless can be scared both directions. It's a double-edged sword.
