...before the day after the days of waiting for my permit to come any day. In other words, I mailed off my application to BCI today. So, anybody want to make predictions on what day my permit will arrive? Shall I pass a hat around? I will throw a dollar in for anyone who gets it right. I know it's approaching summer, so I imagine it's anybody's guess as to when it will come. Anyway, just thought I'd share.

As per their wedsite...,

"We are processing applications within 60 days as required by law."

So you sent it today they will probably get it by.....tuesday, so I'd say...64 days.

Yes, I am sure this is the case. I'm a "no limbo" kind of guy. I hate waiting, I loathe the fence, and I absolutely abhor muddy waters. Waiting for mail is God's way of teaching me patience. By the end of my life, I believe I will have mastered the art of waiting for packages. Then I will depart to the great afterlife in glory having perfected myself. Or something like that.

That's not exactly how it works.

They consider "received" as the day that the money was processed, i.e. the date the check was cashed or the date the credit card was charged by them. For me, that date was two full weeks after I sent it in, and it took them a couple days short of the 60 days AFTER my credit card was charged to get me my permit.

I'd say 70 days is pretty realistic, and maybe a bit optomistic. With two holidays in July, I'm going to predict sometime around August 10th. :ack:

I dropped mine off at DPS on March 3rd and it took just under 60 days.
