Howdy! I came back to Utah after 3 1/2 years in WA -- Duvall, to be exact. I worked for a large, well-known software comany.

Wow, pretty busy forums here. Nice! Thanks for the welcome.

I'm from Federal Way, which is a suburb of Seattle, about 15 miles south.

My CFP is "in the mail"... at least I hope so. They sure do take their sweet time on those things. App has been in for a bit though, so hopefully not too much longer.

As for a carry gun, I don't yet have one. I'm actually trying to decide. I have looked at/shot just about every option but the mousers. Looked at chopped 1911s, the 3" XDs, the kel-tecs, etc.

I think I'm going to end up with a .380. That's probably the biggest (as in gun dimension, not caliber) that I could stand to carry every day. I'm going to have a rough time as it is with my dressing style.

Maybe someone has a recommendation? My options: Seecamp, NAA guardian, Keltec (reliability scares me, i've had bad luck with them), new Ruger LCP, or, if I can find one... a Rohrbaugh R9 (I would like to try one of those if anyone know where I might be able to).

Also check out the Kahr P380 or the Kahr PM 9mm - they are both small and very thin. Would make a good pocket gun or inside-the-waistband without too much discomfort. Remember to get a holster, they don't have safeties!!
