All I'll need is to set up a backstop; probably a 1/4" steel plate suspended at a 45 degree angle to bounce the bullets down into a sandbox underneath. I'll probably also build a shooting bench with walls on both sides and cover it with that egg crate foam to absorb the sound. Since I'm putting in radiant heating the ceiling above the basement will include a 2" thick concrete slab (to hold the heating tubes), which should provide adequate sound isolation from upstairs.
