So I got bored and map this map for where UCC Members are. Now those red "tacts" have been put over either other from Weber to Utah Counties by about an extra layer, so just times it by two or even possibly three.

DISCLAIMER: Not all members have been listed because in the "Members" list on the forums not everyone has put where they are from. I did my best to get everyone on (many tacts later). So yeah, don't yell at me if you are out in the middle of no where but not on the map. Update your profile.

Is there a way to make this interactive; so we can roll over the tacks and see the users name? :?:

It would take more work, but I'll see if I can come up with something, but no promises. Probably what I could do it have one pin for each city, you roll over and it tells you who is in that city or surrounding area. Probably can't do a pin by pin though, too many of use.

When you can't sleep and there is nothing for you to do this is what happens!!! What I did is instead of a pin for everyone I made five maps: The State of Utah, Logan Area, Ogden Area, Salt Lake Valley, and Utah Valley. The four sectioned maps of the state is where we have more people so to better show where they are I cut the state into those sections. Those in the out lands of Utah (Saint George to Vernal, etc.) are on the normal map. Hope this allows you to see where the members are better.

Now the next step is to map them all our in a NavMap, link it to a link and put it on a website... shouldn't be too hard...

Some of the pins that are "out in the middle of no where" (AKA Utah Lake) represent counties. So the one in Utah Lake is for Utah County.

In reality it is my "future house boat." :shades: Google Maps put Utah County out there (even though I already knew where it was) so did the same.

Oh yeah, I updated my profile to show "Smithfield" instead of just "Cache Valley".

Updated and put a tact in there for you. I'll be working on the names later this week, ran out of weekend time to do it.

I have updated my profile to reflect my move next week to Richfield.

Heh. After I move I'll be able to walk out in my yard to shoot. And if I can convince the wife, I'll set up a pistol range in the basement

Congrats on finding a place in Richfield. It's too bad for me that you couldn't take mine, but you'll like Richfield a lot better than you'd like South Weber, I'm sure. South Weber is a nice community, but it's pretty citified these days. In South Weber when I want to shoot I only have to drive a mile or two, but I also have to hike a half mile up a steep canyon to get onto Wasatch National Forest land.
