I heard this earlier on KSL and about flipped out when I heard it. 29 times!!!
This just shows that the police and the courts have no legal obligation to protect citizens. They do protect us quite often, but sometimes they fail poorly with no ramifications. Ultimately, it is up to the individual to provide for his/her own protection.
Still, this is just inexcusable. I wonder how different it would be if it were the judge's 14 year old daughter that had been raped.
