For the first time since joining the service I am getting back to regular volunteer work. I just spent the day walking and playing with dogs at the humane society. I have missed regular contact with dogs since I left the active army (was a Dog Handler) I have not felt this good this at peace in a long long time. Spending the day in the sun with my favorite people (well mans best friends) brought some prospective back to life, and a wide smile to to my lips.

I'll be there again next week.

Awesome! Glad you got the chance to do what you love! I can relate..I spend a lot of time with my two German shorthairs. It's great therapy seeing them have such a good time just being dogs.
