We all need to show up at the WVC city council meeting tomorrow evening and back up our boy TJ!!! He is in the process of preparing a statement (which he is humble enough to allow to help out on) calling for the mayor and city council to do something about the WVCPD habitual harrassment of law-abiding citizens.

Be there early, dress nice, sit on the front row with us!

The Regular Meeting of the West Valley City Council will be held on Tuesday June 10, 2008, at 6:30 PM, in the City Council Chambers, West Valley City Hall, 3600 Constitution Boulevard, West Valley City, Utah (west of Valley Fair Mall). Members of the press and public are invited to attend.

(The comment period is limited to 30 minutes. Any person wishing to comment shall limit their comments to five minutes. Any person wishing to comment during the comment period shall request recognition by the Mayor. Upon recognition, the citizen shall approach the microphone. All comments shall be directed to the Mayor. No person addressing the City Council during the comment period shall be allowed to comment more than once during that comment period. Well, I carry concealed most of the time, but I am from West Valley I have met TJ and some of you other folks, I certainly believe in my 2nd amendment rights so I will be there looking my best with my Colt on my hip. Is 6:00 PM early enough? :flag:

As far as I know it isn't in the secure area of the building, but I'll call and check. If not, there shouldn't be any problems with either CC/OC. The reason to OC would be to show our support without saying anything.

Me: I didn't want to be surprised when I show up and have to turn around and put my gun back in the car, since you can't carry in secure areas...
