FBMG Smithy, what brands of lowers do you carry?
IMO, the brand of the lower is probably the least important part of the gun....they are all basically the same.

Thats true we do carry mostly Stag. We do that because we believe in Stag quality. Infact it is the brand we all own. The parent company of Stag made most of the AR parts for all the other brands for many years. Stag came to be with the left handed upper reciever. Now of coarse they make everything. Our point is if you are going to have Stag internals in almost any brand you buy why not cut out the middle man and buy the Stag at a lower price than the other brands. Everything is strictly MilSpec and no matter how busy they have gotten they havent compromised on their quality like some of the other brands.

Thanks! If you have any others besides stag, i'd be interested in the price of those.

Also, I assume you do transfers, what is your fee? Because I'll be honest, I've found a DPMS lower for $103, and if that plus shipping, plus your fee, is a lot cheaper, I may have to go that route.

Sorry I didn't have time to check it today...I couldn't finish half of what I needed to. The DPMS wont be cheaper though. I know ours is about $100. You tag on shipping and the $25 transfer fee and you are almost at $150. I have it on my to do list at work to check on the price for you and I'll be able to get that Monday for a definite price. I'll let you know.

The stags they sell are nice, and you really wont beat the price. It seems the last stripped lower I got was $119, but I'm not sure of that. That is still an excelent price, and I have been nothing but happy with mine. Nobody takes care of you like the guys out there at FBMG, world class service. Those guys know guns and dont mind answereing questions.

Thanks fnfnc64. I appriciate your kind words. We sure try to teach as we go there at the shop. If you got your Stag lower for $119 it is probably still that cost. Thats why I said they were around $100.
Right now Stag is the only lowers left but I wouldnt hesitate to get one myself. Oh wait I did. I have my first AR sitting back in my shop waiting for parts.
