I've decided my Sig Sauer P229 is too bulky and big for me to easily conceal with what I normally wear to work. I borrowed a buddy's Glock 27 for a weekend and was impressed how well it disappeared compared to the thicker P229. So, I think I will get something smaller along those lines. Which .40S&W compact or sub-compact would you recommend?
I have the Glock 27 and carry it in a Smart Carry. Takes a litle getting use to but it's easy to conceal wearing shorts and a t-shirt.
I like the XD40, but I also REALLY like CZ pistols. They are classy and have a style all their own.
I have a Kahr MK9 and LOVE it.

If I were in the market for a 40, I wouldn't hesitate.
I'm a Springfield kinda guy. :shades:
I've got the Glock 27 and carry it daily. Great little gun.

Love my kahr P9 great gun huge round count the other subcompacts are just not as easily concealed.

Just my 2 cents
Kahr CW9, no complaints
hey thanks for everybody's input. I bought the Speingfield XD40 subcompact (bi-tone). I have 100 rounds through it and really like it a lot

thanks for the advice
Since this is limited to a .40 S&W, I chose the SA XD because I love my SA XD 9SC. I haven't fired any of the others though so I am very limited on my experience.

My first choice is going to be a 1911. I carry a kimber pro carry, and love it. Going off your list however, I picked the XD. Those things are great. I would go with the .45 there too, but thats just me :shades:

:agree: All of the guns listed are first rate, but I also have to side with the 1911 guys.It is hard to improve on perfection!!! :gun9:
I'm gonna take Larry Correia's class down at Cabela's as soon as I can... (I'm University of Utah staff, and evidently it's free for me! Yay!)

I'm seriously thinking about a Ruger LCP.
