For some reason I can never login to this site from my phone... it's running windows mobile 2003 second edition. Does anybody know if there's a trick to this?

I don't think I have a problem with this running Windows Mobile 6.

I never access this site from any device running Windows Mobile 2003, so I haven't seen the problem, nor can I test it.

What is the error you get when you try?

No error. The login simply doesn't persist.

When I try it, I type in the user name and PW, click the box and it just takes me back to the login screen with no error message. I have cookies enabled in the browser. :?

Ok, my pda runs WM 2003. When I load up this site it shows 2 seperate log in boxes. One at the top and one down further on the page. I tried the top one first and it doesent let me in. Then I tried the one further down on the page and it worked. Check to see if there is one down further on the page.

Works fine on my Blackberry. I have no idea what my Blackberry is running though.

IE in WM6 is great (my phone is WM6). IE in previous versions of Windows Mobile is not very good. Download Opera Mobile and try from there. You'll be much happier with Opera Mobile on that version of WM. You do have to pay a small amount for it, but I'm told it is well worth the price.

My Blackberry it shows up fine; Login right on the top page. Running the latest OS on an 8830 World Edition.

The problem is fixed. Seems I had an auto generated password that I didn't remember. My desktop would always auto-login so I never needed to know the PW untill I started trying to login with my phone.

Thanks for the link to Opera mobile doconix, does it need to be installed to main memory or will it work from the storage card?

I read comments on my Blackberry Curve just fine as long as I put the browser in "View as Desktop" from the menu. Great when on the bus going to and from work. I do wish that the phpBB software used by this forum had a mobile view. There are a few sites that have special mobile friendly modes. nba.com, dexknows.com, google.com for example.
