So I was just there today (like an hour ago) and the area is really awful. This cleanup really should happen. Forget the dumpster, if we can just get trash bags and a truck we can get this thing done.

Yeah, it's ridiculous how littered it is. You'd think people could be a little better. My wife and I were there a couple of weekends ago, and we hauled out four trash bags of crap that was just in our immediate area, and it didn't even put a dent in things. Would have done more, but we only had four bags with us.

Let's plan on Saturday, the 13th. Does that work for everyone? We could do another date if that's bad, but at this point, I agree - let's just do it.

Thanks to everyone who has volunteered!

I'll borrow one of dads many trailers we can use for hauling it off.

I agree - if we go too late, the area will fill up with shooters and we won't be able to do much good. (Darn shooters, anyway... )

I'm open for really any weekend after the first, so if it works better for everyone, we could certainly move it to the 27th...

Depending on how big the area is and how many people show up, it could possibly be done before conference next weekend for all us crazy mormons. Could you get r done in an hour or so? Unless we are going to "relitter" after we clean up. :lol2:

It's a pretty good sized area, and its really trashed. We could easily spend much more then an hour there. I don't expect that we will get the whole place cleaned up, but I do think that we could spend more then an hour without any trouble at all.
