I wonder if the defense could call Corey herself as a witness. *snicker*

It's not relevant to the trial, inadmissible and would likely result in sanctions against the defense attorney who mentioned it. Besides that, the "indictment" is legally meaningless, essentially just an expression of opinion by a small group of people who have no standing.

There are ways they could get it out there, so to speak. They could mention it in closing arguments, or maybe even call her as a witness and ask her about it on direct.

"They could mention it in closing arguments" And the attorney who did it would likely be cited for contempt and possibly have his license to practice imperiled. And then there's a significant chance that a mistrial could be declared...how many trials can Zimmerman afford to finance?

"or maybe even call her as a witness" Call her as a witness to what? Zimmerman is the one on trial and she's not party to anything that happened on that night in February nor, I believe, has she relevant information pertaining to the "crime" that was developed subsequent to the crime. Deplorable as her decisions may have been, she and her decisions aren't on trial here (that may well come later in a civil suit); Zimmerman and his actions are on trial.

Lastly, who is she "taking heat from"?
