SLPD flippant attitude toward an ND

Boy, the teacher who had the ND in the faculty toilet sure got a raw deal compared to this cop.

But as has been suggested on OCDO, if you ever have an ND and get charged, call Lt. Hatch as a witness in your defense. Apparently, this is no big deal.

Wow, your right the teacher almost got ran out of town on a rail, even though most family's wanted her to stay. I guess if your a cop you get the benefit of the doubt, but if it was one of us not so much.

"Almost every officer in their career has an accidental discharge," he said. "It's the nature of handling guns … We're human and we make mistakes."

Wrong terminology.
Wrong attitude.

And what ever happened to LEOs being "so much better" than we peon citizens?... :raisedbrow:

Always be aware of those citing "almost all"... show me the stats. What of all of those officers who have never had to fire their handguns? NDs as well?

"No Big Deal Ma'am...He Carries a Badge"

Sorry to say it but it is just one more example of good cops covering for another brother in blue when they screw up.
