Looks like Odgen's City Attorney realized Union Station was in the wrong:

Ogden Attorney removes signs banning open-carry at Sea Bears, Union Station

Monday afternoon, Ogden City Attorney Gary Williams took down signs posted on the doors at Union Station that read “The open carry of firearms is not permitted in Union Station.” ... Mitch Vilos, an attorney who specializes in weapons cases and the author of the books “Utah Gun Law” and “Self-Defense Laws of All 50 States,” said the city attorney is correct. Union Station Foundation may not prohibit the open carrying of firearms in the building.

No one should make decisions for us when it comes to guns and gun carry. If we do things we're not comfortable with because someone told us it's 'right' it becomes a distraction in an event where clarity and simplicity is needed.

I would also take a leap here and say Sea Bears was illegally Coerced to stop the open carrying of firearms by their staff and also OC by their Customers, as a condition of their contract or lease.

If the second article about them pulling the signs is accurate(doubtful). It sounded like legally they could still open carry. My guess is they are going to play it safe for a bit as financially would be really bad if US tried to kick them out illegal or not.
