Red dot for pistol advice

Postby Shay.ca » Fri 14 Oct 2016 7:18 am

Looking to get a red dot for my glock mos. looking for the best bang for my buck as well as quality. Want to spend 2-300 for a solid red dot.

Which ones have you used and would you recommend.

Was looking at the trijicon rmr that used light and tridium so there's no batteries but not sure I want to spend almost as much as the gun on it.

Was also looking at vortex red dots as they have their lifetime warranty. Not sure which one is best between the razor, viper and venom.

Anyone have experience with these red dots or suggest anything else?

If it's just going to be a range gun, go for a vortex. If it's going to be serious use, go for the RM06. The fiber RMRs are not that great in my opinion.

Throw a vortex on it and then buy a KKM compensator/barrel combo and have fun!

I'm a fan of the Burris FF3.

I can't remember which but one of the vortex is supposed to fit pistols better even though they are all small. I have on on my sub 2000 but I can't remember which on it is off the top of my head. I have liked it though.
