No, it's not just you... however, I thought it was always like that... ???

I agree, but I would need to get the original image. I believe the degradation of .gif combined with any shrinking caused this in the first place...

I could create a new logo that is similar to the original and jazz it up a bit. Let me know what ya'll think... (Do keep in mind that the larger the image file size is, the longer it takes to download...)

I has been like that since we got the new logo - I didn't say anything at the time - but it's really bugged me. I thought maybe it was just exporting the image to a web format with 256 colors or something (bad export profile). I have the original PNG, I would be happy to export it to a nice, smooth looking transparent GIF.

OK, here they are for Thomas or Jeff to upload. One is transparent outside the circle, the other is transparent outside the circle and inside the circle around the state.

I could take it out, but it sure looks empty without something under the UCC (IMO).

The "Log me in automatically" option is definetely NOT working correctly. I tried deleting all cookies, history, files, etc and still not working right. Any other ideas?

I wasn't implying that it was our cookie settings. When a cookie is made, there is information inside - including how long the cookie is active (the whole point of the "remember me" check box on many sites). Perhaps the UCC forum software isn't creating cookies correctly or the settings for making the cookies aren't set yet. I think this is server side rather than user side.

I really like the transparent version. But they would need to change the blue background to something else for it to really look good... Man this new software is going to take some getting accustomed to! :nilly:

Can someone delete their cookies and try the autologin feature again and post whether it works or not.

Thanks,

So, whaddya think of the new logo that Dave made? It shows up now in the banner above.
I think it looks very good.

However, There's a tiny bit of white around the edges that didn't get made transparent. Do we want to correct that?
