Eight years ago today, I came home to my wife on April Fools Day, and announced to her that I had joined The Army Reserve.

I think she thought I was playing a joke on her, until I asked "Today is April Fools Day?!?"

Needless to say, My eight year enlistment expires today, and I couldn't be happier to let the big gubment machine chug away without me.

I can't believe it has been 8 years! This has been the happiest April Fool's Day. From here on out I won't have to think of the day he joined but the day he finished instead. I bought myself a beautiful bouquet today that looks gorgeous just for the special occasion! After 2 deployments and 2 kids we have learned alot and grown so much together. Thank you to all the men and women who served with my husband and who are now taking his place serving our country. Also Thank You to everyone on here that has supported us, especially this last deployment. We made it!!!!
